Magic: The Gathering Online moves to Daybreak Games

We are excited to announce the monumental move of Magic Online to Daybreak Games' servers today — the final step in a year-long transition process intended to help ensure long-term Magic Online growth and continued service for the game's many fans.

Wizards of the Coast announced the official transition of Magic Online to Daybreak Games earlier last week, handing the torch to Executive Producer Sarah Parsons, Creative Director Ryan Spain and Product Manager Tony Mayer, who will lead the charge in the game's development moving forward.

In his letter, addressing the Magic Online players and community, Spain emphasized the development team’s goals for the ever-popular digital collectible card game, and that is, "to provide product vision and design direction, and work with the incredible Magic Online team to support and improve the most authentic digital expression of the tabletop for years to come.”
